i'm in love..........
............ with alice starmore.
her book just came in at the library for me (finally!). i spent my entire lunch break drooling on the pages, with heart all aflutter. turning every page in wide-eyed wonder. i would go out and buy it, but it seems it has reached 'rare book' status in the world. i can't seem to find a copy of it anywhere thats even kinda reasonable.
and yet... its almost worth it.
and now, i'm going to commune with alice. just think of the possibilities. ¶ 2:58 PM

The Ufserud turned out fantastic! I am going to link yours to my nephew to see if he would wear one...then I will make him one for christmas!

hehe I just got back from the library looking for an alice starmore book!! None, of course :( I really want to knit one of her color designs, but I haven't really found one that I'd actually wear (maybe if I heavily modified it!)

Such a wonderful book..I was somehow able to snag a copy from Amazon for about $50 - a total fluke and I'm still not sure how it happened! I really want her Aran Knitting book. (drool..)
