I'm taking a week off (from everything), then I'll be headed over the pond to go bananas at UK Ravelry Day. I'll be teaching alongside Meg Swansen, Wooly Wormhead, Debbie Bliss, and many others whose presence I am absolutely honored to be in!
Here's to a new chapter - one where there is much more time for knitting!
Congratulations! Have a great time in the UK and I look forward to your further knitting adventures.
ReplyDeleteWell done! Looking forward to seeing more of you and your projects in the future. Have a great time in the UK. I'm envious!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your sterling accomplishments. And the future holds more time for stepping out to meet new knitting friends, I hope.
ReplyDeleteWow, what company you will be in! Your the new star on the block.
Enjoy and looking forward to your new future.
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteAnd a wool tassel would have been so perfect!
Congratulations! I just finished most of Girasole. I am at the knitted edge point. I loved working the whole thing. Hopefully, I can figure out how to do this edging. I have never done one, and I just don't 'get' what I'm supposed to do. Once, while pre-reading directions for a lace shawl, I told a friend that I didn't understand what I was going to do. She gave me good advice " just do it. It will come to you as you knit it". She was totally right, so when I get some quiet time, I am going to sit and start knitting.. it will come to me..
ReplyDeleteI look forward to more wonderful things from you now that you aren't studying.
Congratulations! Have a wonderful time in the UK.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the MFA!
ReplyDeleteYay! Congratulations!

ReplyDeleteHabitat Hat: I just purchased this pattern on ravelry, and I’m so excited about starting it. I have a question, if I wanted to make it a slouchier tam-type hat, would it be possible to repeat chart A a second time? Would the stitches line up, because it looks that way.
